Aloe Vera is succulent with several health benefits!

Aloe Vera is used for a wide array of purposes. You can use it as decoration of course! Its also used for it's health and medicinal benefits. Aloe Vera has a gel that can be taken from the inside of its leaves, which is known to reduce the redness of sunburns. Its used in cosmetics and lotions, as well as acne treatments. Aloe can be added to water for its health benefits, and tea to Help ease digestive problems.

How to care for Aloe Vera:

Light: Bright sun

Soil: Cactus soil

Water: Regularly but less in cooler climates

Fertilise: Aloe doesn't need to be fertilised.

Note: If your Aloe is shrivelling up it could be because it doesn't have enough water, or it is sitting in sunlight that is too strong.

Do you use Aloe Vera for any number of its benefits?

I have a very small Aloe plant that I have used once, but I can't remember why. I think I wanted to reduce some redness on my face. I typically use it for sun burns but I live in Sweden so that doesn't happen anymore. Laughing out loud

I’m a fan of all multi-purpose plants. Aloe Vera can be used on other burns too. My wife use it whenever she is burned while cooking. She also treats knife cuts with it. From cooking, not knife fights. It stills the blood.
