I harvested lettuce and 2/3rds of the basil plants. I made chinese sesame chicken salad and pesto. 🥬🌿

Wow, I’ve never made my own pesto! How many basil plants did it take to make that jar?

It took 2/3rds of 3 basil plants. I didn't want to harvest the whole plants because they can grow new leaves up until they are a year old.
