My depressed monstera leaf

I got my first monstera recently. I put it in a new bigger pot right away, because it had started growing out of the bottom part of the old one. I haven't really watered it at all, been waiting for the soil to dry, but I have sprayed the leaves with water multiple times a day. It recently got its first new leaf, but it looks very sad and droopy. Does it look like this because it's new and will perk up or have I done something wrong? The other old leaves look fine. The new one is also possibly a lighter green than the others. I hope someone might know what's up with my very loved plant :(

The rest looks fine, as you might see.

I think it will start looking happier with time! Generally the leaves start out a lighter green and darken over time. That goes for the thickness of the leaf too, it should get better with time. 🙂 Pretty plant!

Thank you! Feels better now with some reassurance. Two new leaves are currently unfolding themselves. I'll see if the same thing happens with them. :)

What a beautiful plant. Can you post a new pic? I would like to see how it is doing too.

Happy creating!

It is actually doing pretty good, thanks for asking Evelina and Tammie! The "depressed" leaf is still an oddball compared to the rest but he looks better than he did before. I can sort of fold it up to a good shape if the monstera have been angled towards the window in a certain way. I haven't had it that way for a while and it doesn't look the best now. I took two pictures to show an comparison between when I have folded it up and when it hangs down. The leaf is in the lower right corner.

I found an old picture from when I hadn't had it for very long!
