What kind of apple is this?

Image 1. Click to open in original size.

This is not the typical apartment plant, but someone might know anyway. We have an apple tree and don't know what kind it is. The apples looks like in the photo. Closest to the skin the meat is a little pink. The outside feels greasy, almost smudgy. The tree took many years to start giving apples. They usually are ripe in October (we live in Stockholm in Sweden). The taste is sweet and pleasant. The apple diameter typically is 65 to 75 millimeter. Does anyone know what kind of apple tree we have?

Best regards, Niklas 🎈

I don't really know my apples that well but they are beautifully pigmented.

All the best, Leia

I also don't know too well, but I did find this. Maybe you can see the apple on there?

I believe that there are many old varieties of Apples in Sweden that isn't necessarily sold any more. It looks really good.

Happy creating!
