Botanium, carefree growing of plants, but...

I like the idea of not needing soil, not having to monitor watering and also the design of Botanium. But, do you need a battery powered pot to achieve this? It feels like there should be ways to do all this without using a battery.

If we don't think of the design, do you know of a self-watering plant solution that needs no soil and cannot be overwatered?

And one last thing, the Botanium cost 69 EUR each. If I were to buy these for the few plants we have at home; it would add up to a lot of money. I’m not even sure the largest plants would fit into a Botanium. They look small.

I don’t think this type of thing would interest me, the Botanium isn’t as atheistically pleasing as the beautiful plant pots you can find elsewhere and I think it takes the fun, human element out of planting.

I feel proud when I’ve kept a plant alive😂 I wouldn’t feel that way if I used this.

All the best, Leia
