It's harvest time for cucumbers
ร sa bought a small cucumber plant a few weeks ago. After replanting and putting it in a sunny spot it starting growing fast. Earlier this week the first cucumber was ripe. Yesterday we picked three more. This variety is called snack cucumber. The plant came from Rosenhill in Ekerรถ outside Stockholm. It's well worth a visit if you like hippie culture and vegetarian fika. You can also bring fruit there and have it made into cider.

They look really good! I love that you have the chance to make your own cider too, never heard of anywhere like that.

There are at least a couple of places that I know of around Stockholm where you can bring your fruit and come home with cans of cider. Mostly they probably do it with apples and pears.

Those look yummy!
Happy creating!

They taste almost like regular cucumbers. Possibly a little less watery.

I find snack cucumbers to be crunchier and I love that! Reminds me of the cucumbers we have in the states.

Yeah, crunchier is a good description of what I meant by less watery! ๐
